Youth Krav Maga and MMA

Youth Combative Mixed Martial Arts is a hybrid system combining Krav Maga and MMA. It is through this that we are able to provide our Youth students with an opportunity to see both systems as effective for sport and self-defense.

Often times people separate martial systems. Krav Maga started as boxing and wrestling. Over the years it has evolved into something bigger. Elite Training Center’s Krav Maga encompasses many systems including both Japanese and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Western Boxing, Muay Thai Kickboxing, Kali / Silat, Folk Style Wrestling, and a number of weapon disarms and usages.

Friday afternoon was our first promotion where we were able to see how effective this new system was for our Youth Program. It was a great honor and pleasure to have two more students earn their brown belts. Other honors were earned, but as always we would like to point out that there were boys and girls attending who were simply there to support their teammates.

Martial arts have changed some of our students from quiet, meek children to strong adolescents and leaders. We are all so very proud to be a part of something so important to so many young people. Thank you to all who support the youth program and to those who are setting a strong example for their future.
