Martial Arts
Elite Training Center stresses the importance of strength. This should not be confused with physical strength. We all understand that the physical is very important, but not as important as having strength of character.
Everyday we wake up to a routine. Every night we most likely adhere to the same evening plan. During these two times are the perfect opportunity to ask if you’ve done what you said you would do today. And if you didn’t complete those tasks, what and how will you get it done the following day?
No one is perfect. Sometimes we forget or aren’t conscious about what our word means. Sometimes we don’t want to let someone down by telling them no; all the while realizing that the task may perhaps be too big. Strength of character is about your word.
The greatest martial artists who created and shared their disciplines were people of their word. Through non stop research, development and most importantly integrity, the martial arts you practice today (Krav Maga, Muay Thai Kickboxing, Kali / Silat, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu BJJ or Mixed Martial Arts MMA) found their way into our lives. Some of these martial arts have traced their lineage 2000 years back.
Not only do we take and make the arts our own, but if we could apply the commitment that those who developed martial arts to our everyday lives our successes would be more easily attained and our goals more lofty.
