It isn’t easy getting up and stepping on the mat every morning. But the desire to achieve something never rings truer to the martial artist.
We will always have someone to look up to on the mat. There is someone who we admire for their hard work and ability to interact with others while we train. The true martial artist trains and helps others improve regardless of level.
In Krav Maga, Kali / Silat, Muay Thai Kickboxing, BJJ and MMA we continually encourage each other to do better, to inform or help learn particular techniques. It doesn’t matter what system. If we can help someone else learn we are also helping ourselves understand the intricacies of the technique.
Keep the thought of helping others in your head. Your own technique will show drastic improvements.
