Firearms Classes
We are just about one week out from Elite Training Center’s first firearms courses of the year. We will be presenting two days of firearms classes for our students, their family and friends and all Law Enforcement and Military personnel on June 28th and 29th at Burro Canyon Shooting Park in Azusa, CA. Tactical Pistol I will be held on the first day and Tactical Shotgun I will be held on the following day. So if you are planning on attending there are a couple of things that you need to do.
First, you need to be sure that you have signed up and paid for the courses that you plan on attending. You can take care of that at the front counter on your way to or from classes. If you have that taken care of, you will need to be sure that you have the correct type and amount of ammunition for the classes. For Tactical Pistol I, you will need 300 rounds of metal jacketed training pistol ammo. For Tactical Shotgun I you will need 150 rounds of either game or target shotgun ammunition and 150 rounds of metal jacketed training pistol ammo. Next you should check all of your equipment (belt, holster, magazine pouches, ect.) for proper fit, functionality and to ensure you are familiar with it. Lastly, and most importantly, check the firearms that you will be bringing to the courses. You will want to make sure that they function properly, are clean and properly lubricated. Elite Training Center supports legal, responsible and safe firearms ownership. We provide firearms training and consultation to our students and members of the law enforcement and military communities as a service to those individuals and to further those ideals. It is the responsibility of each firearms owner to fully know and understand the laws of their state that govern firearms ownership. Furthermore we believe that all firearms owners should partake in regular firearms training to ensure safe, responsible firearms handling and full enjoyment in the shooting sports.
