Earning Stripes

This past week in the kids program, we had a lot of stripe promoters and a few children who’ve moved up from the basic to the advance program.  The earning of stripes are the degrees on the Martial Arts belt. It’s exciting to the see how excited and accomplished the kids feel when they’ve earn their stripe!

We encourage the kids to understand that the stripes are earned in class based on their attendance, focus and being a friend to everyone in class.  In addition the children work towards being able to be apart of helping the basic kids and preforming the Martial Arts skills of Krav Maga, Kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to the best of their ability.  Just seeing their growth as martial artists makes me want to push further and harder to accomplish my goals as well.   All in all it is most important for all to have fun!
