Congratulations to our MMA Fighters!
What an astonishing display of technique and fluidity this weekend! Tommy Aaron and Roman Todorovich continue to impress us with their ability to lead by example in the cage, on and off the mat. What separates our fighters from most is their understanding of the true core values of the Elite Training Center. There is no question that our two MMA Fighters dedicate countless hours to our school.
Whether they’re spending time after classes with someone who needs help, sharing a techniques with a team mate, or simply checking if anyone needs anything habitually. The fighter’s path is a selfish one, in order to be successful one must think ‘How can I get better?’ ‘How is this going to help me?’ ‘Am I getting my rounds in?’. I admire my colleagues immensely for taking an unorthodox approach to walking their martial path. In the MMA world that is dominated by the ‘me’ mindset, they choose to swim upstream and against majority. Those of you who know our boys personally know that their actions speak for their character. As fighters, as instructors, as martial artists this is what separates them from the rest of the world.
I am proud to have their leadership in Elite Training Center’s MMA Program. Their movement, experience and technique speaks for itself. But what they pride themselves on the most is what’s important, and that is making sure they provide quality instruction to our student base at the school. We are here to share what we know and to help one another become the best that we can be. These two have done what very few black belts and high caliber fighters haven’t, and that is finding a way to walk a MMA Fighters path and a martial artists’ path as one. Living for others and putting themselves second has given them an experience that no other sparring session or clinic can emulate. That experience is the process of self-evolving through prioritizing the progress of our community and team rather than themselves. We applaud you gentlemen for being outstanding individuals of shining character. In the end, the victory at the end of your fights aren’t what’s important. What’s important is your wins are only one of the many testaments of what it is to truly be a warrior of Elite. It excites me to think that they’ve only just begun! We all eagerly await to see what time and experience will do to our boys. It’s people like our boys that make me proud to say,”We are the Elite.”
