Did you do it? Did you proclaim 2015 to be “your year?” I hope so. Hit the ground running! There are all sorts of posts coming up on Facebook about sticking to your resolutions and how to do it.

There is no magic potion. All of you reading this have most likely set a goal and achieved it in one way or another. Maybe it was earning your advanced belt in Krav Maga, MMA, or Muay Thai Kickboxing. Perhaps you dropped some weight or in some cases gained that bit of muscle you were looking to add. Regardless, you did it by being consistent.

Exercise: Find a way to fit in 30-60 minutes of exercise in each day. It doesn’t have to be 1000 miles per hour. Be sure to be steady.

Eat For Performance: Like most of us, this is where many of us struggle. In previous posts we talked about how often we negate the hard training by eating poorly. Again, there’s no magic trick. Just do or do not.

Rest: Study after study shows that with proper rest, your results increase. Rest as in recover. Rest as in sleep. Can’t sleep? Try training harder and eating better.

Good luck to everyone in the upcoming year! We at Elite are here! We’ll help you make it a good year, but you have to be the one to make it a great one!
