What I often see in training and specially in tournament venues are the simultaneous slashes or thrust attack. Or the discounting of hand shots by the competitors. When EGO is the foundation of training, the lesson is lost.
What I observe often time is the typical disrespect for what a REAL knife can do to flesh.
But unfortunately I’ve seen this kind of training result even from long term practitioners of knife training. When the reality is NOT the sum of the training scenarios I typically see that EGO gets in the way. Even in PLAY. But specially in competition/tournaments.
I’m not making a judgment just an observation. I’m just stating the facts that I’ve seen.
But the REALITY is that if practitioners perpetuate an unrealistic style of training then they endanger NOT just themselves BUT ALSO the PEOPLE who Follows them.
At Elite Training Center KALI Program, We consider this REALITY as Our Fundamental Basis of All Blade Training. Why Do I have to mention that? You’ve Be surprise as to How Many DO NOT.
‘One Does Not Rise Up to Highest Quality of his Training, But To The Lowest When Place In His Reality. Thus, Training Must Always Be of The Highest Of Each Previous Session to Quantify Natural Unnatural Reaction Towards Unnatural Events.”
