Elite Training Center: Redondo

Our latest group outing as a school (Elite Training Center, Redondo Beach) brought us to 12th and Highland in Manhattan Beach! It was a very pleasant surprise to see so many members of the Center in attendance. Thanks to Shawni for organizing the event that brought us together. What really stood out at last night’s event was the family atmosphere that existed. It was nice to see that our behavior “on the mat” transcends to our socializing as a school. Respect, great energy, and comfort were all apparent.

It is important that we are comfortable with one another when it comes to training. Our events give us the opportunity to get to know one another better.  This can give each of us insight as to what it was that brought us through the doors of Elite. Whatever that reason was or is, that passage gives us commonality. It is something shared and something very real.

Chances are each of you came to Elite with a specific goal or set of goals in mind. Whether those goals have been achieved, then reset or changed entirely, you train because you enjoy it. And with that enjoyment comes a sense of comfort and familiarity in your learning environment.  At Elite, what we strive to accomplish is to help people achieve their goals; all the while making them feel as though they are a part of something familiar, a family.

We want our family to grow. We want each of our members to take it upon themselves to share stories of success and achievement. Without your “success stories” the good name of Elite will not spread. But, with your stories the Center grows. As the Center grows you as a student will grow. More opportunities will arise, more reasons to train, thus more people to train with.

Word of mouth is key for our expansion. And although we have made some significant aesthetic changes to our school, one thing will always remain constant; each and every member feeling like they are part of the Elite family. So get out and spread the word so our family can grow!
